      Are my files uploaded anywhere?

      No. These tools work in your browser, so files are processed on your own device. Once the page loads, the browser also blocks it from sending requests elsewhere. If you want to check, open the Network tab and process a file — nothing leaves.

      Why can't I search my compressed PDF?

      Compression turns each page into an image, which makes the file much smaller. If you need searchable text, use the page scaling option instead, or keep the original PDF.

      Is there a file size limit?

      There is no fixed limit, but very large files depend on your device's memory. If the page slows down, split the PDF first and process it in parts.

      Can it open password-protected PDFs?

      Not right now. Remove the password in your PDF viewer first, then upload the file here.

      Does it cost anything?
